Ready to have some fun in Salt Lake City?
Join us for the AAPA Spring Meeting, April 4-6!
The AAPA Spring Meeting in Salt Lake City is just a couple weeks away, and we are so excited to see everyone in person! (Haven’t registered yet? Don’t worry, there are still some spots available – register today!) While the Spring Meeting is mostly focused on excellent education offerings, we also encourage you to save a bit of time for fun in SLC! As you plan your trip, leave room for these activities in your itinerary:
- Hit the slopes: Salt Lake City is surrounded by mountains and ski resorts – Utah Olympic Park, a host site for the 2022 Winter Olympics, is located just 40 minutes away in Park City.
- Explore the outdoors: Just half an hour outside of town is Thanksgiving Point, home to Ashton Gardens, the Museum of Natural Curiosity, and the Museum of Ancient Life, one of the world’s largest dinosaur museums.
- Visit some feathered friends: No need to catch a flight to the Tracy Aviary, which is the oldest aviary in the nation and home to more than 135 different species of birds – it’s just a ten-minute drive from the hotel.
- Take a dip: Head 20 minutes west to the Great Salt Lake, the largest salt water lake in the western hemisphere. The lake is a popular spot for swimming, sunbathing, sailing, and kayaking, while the surrounding trails are perfect for mountain biking, hiking, and more!
