San Diego, Let’s Go!
Leading up to the AAPA Summer Meeting, we will be sharing some tips for family-friendly fun and must-visit destinations in San Diego, CA! Next up is Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres and just a five-minute walk from the host hotel. According to mlb.com, “Petco Park is spectacular in every way, combining the best sight lines in baseball with breathtaking views of San Diego. Innovative design features evoke the timeless traditions of baseball in an intimate setting, with state-of-the-art fan amenities to suit every taste and budget.” While there aren’t any home games during the Summer Meeting, you can still explore the park by signing up for a Daily Tour! Experience the ballpark as only players and staff do. Led by a tour guide, this historical, behind-the-scenes tour allows guests to experience the ballpark while learning about the history of Petco Park and the San Diego Padres. Tours are approximately 80-90 minutes long, and tickets should be purchased in advance.
