Group for Research in Pathology Education Seeking PA Volunteers

Member News

Dear AAPA Members,

The Group for Research in Pathology Education (GRIPE) is seeking PAs to volunteer in their planning committees (workshops, posters, etc.) for their pre-conference weekend sessions at the International Association of Medical Science Educators (IAMSE) annual meetings. GRIPE is the pathology branch for IAMSE and consists of pathologists, researchers, and any health profession educators related to pathology. The 2023 meeting is in June in Cancun, Mexico.

IAMSE membership is required and includes GRIPE membership as well. The GRIPE volunteer meetings are virtual every few months and are more frequent closer to the conference. The advantages of joining IAMSE are international presence (encouraged for professor tracks), networking, collaborating with medical educators world-wide, additional opportunities to learn teaching techniques, educational research skill, presentation platforms, etc. in a multidisciplinary setting.

For more information, visit http://www.iamse.org/.

If you are interested in volunteering or if you have any questions, please reach out to me at [email protected].

Regards,
