Host Hotel: Margaritaville Hotel San Diego

This year’s host hotel is the Margaritaville Hotel San Diego (Gaslamp Quarter). Nestled in one of Southern California’s most thriving downtown business and entertainment districts, this hotel offers a playful retreat in a highly walkable neighborhood, putting you in the center of the action! The discounted room rate ended on Monday, July 1, 2024, but you can still make a reservation after this date at the regular price. Please Note: Due to citywide conferences in the city before/after our meeting, there will be extremely limited pre- or post-meeting dates available at the host hotel, if any. Plan for check-in July 21 and check-out July 24.

San Diego, Let’s Go!

Leading up to the AAPA Summer Meeting, we will be sharing some tips for family-friendly fun and must-visit destinations in San Diego, CA! Of course, a trip to San Diego would not be complete without a day of family fun at the beach! Coronado Beach is just a 15-minute drive from the host hotel across the Coronado Bridge. You can also hop on the ferry (trips run hourly; $18 round-trip) for a quick ride across the bay. Once you’re there, you can spend some time swimming, surfing, or just relaxing at one of the country’s best beaches. Be sure to explore historic Hotel del Coronado and the many shops and restaurants in the surrounding picturesque community of Coronado, aka The Crown City. It’s a destination fit for royalty!
