Hello AAPA Members,
By now, we’re sure you know that the AAPA 49th Annual Conference is coming up September 15-19, 2024, in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Have you had a chance to check out the amazing lineup that we have planned for attendees? From PA-specific lectures and workshops to poster sessions and an exhibitor fair to parties and other fun activities, conference week is jam-packed from beginning to end!
As you can imagine, there is a lot of time and energy that goes into planning the conference and all the activities throughout the week. It is more than any one volunteer can do alone, and that is why it takes a team of dedicated AAPA members, just like you, to make the conference a success each year.
The Annual Conference Vice Chair is an integral member of the team, who will collaborate with the Chair throughout the planning process, onsite at the conference, and for post-meeting wrap-up. Plan to work closely with the Chair, Executive Director, staff, BOT, committee leaders, and subcommittees to help the conference come together and to look ahead to future events. Upcoming conference locations include Denver (2025) and Phoenix (2026), and the pre-planning stages are already in progress.
