Dear AAPA Members,
The AAPA Grossing Guidelines Editorial Board is recruiting for Section Authors!
Section authors serve as the first editors of the AAPA Grossing Guidelines. These individuals oversee each Grossing Guideline section and are responsible for the first review of the protocol author’s work. The section authors offer guidance, suggestions, and may provide edits to the author’s first draft. After section author approval, the protocol then moves to the next round of editing provided by the Content Review Team. As members of the Grossing Guidelines Editorial Board, section authors may also attend an annual AAPA-sponsored Grossing Guidelines meeting.
The Grossing Guidelines Committee is looking for expert pathologists’ assistants for the following sections:
- Bone and Soft Tissue
- Ophthalmologic
- Pediatric
- Hematologic
- Head and Neck
