Non-Delegate Student Conference Scholarship FAQ

If I wasn’t chosen as one of my school’s Student Delegates, can I still attend the conference?

  • Yes, all students currently enrolled in an accredited Pathologists’ Assistant program are welcome at any Fall Conference or Spring Meeting. A discounted rate is available for student members to attend the Fall Conference, or please see the Non-Delegate Student Conference scholarship for an opportunity to win a trip to the conference.

Can the student who wins the Non-Delegate Student Conference scholarship attend the student roundtable with the delegates at the conference?

  • Absolutely! We would love to see you there!

General Student Scholarship FAQ

Can I apply for both the Non-Delegate Student Conference and the General Student scholarship?

  • Yes, but you must write a different paper for each scholarship.

Scholarship Manuscript Submission Guidelines FAQ

I haven’t cut any interesting cases yet! How do I find a good case?

  • The preceptor at your rotation site or your program directors usually know of interesting cases. Also, check out the Choosing a Case Report Specimen page.

Can I collaborate on my manuscript submission with a colleague?

  • Medicine is by its nature a collaborative process, and we welcome and highly encourage you to work with pathologists, residents, and other PAs to gain the best understanding possible. However, the manuscript must be the sole work of the author.
