Lagniappe is a unique term in New Orleans that embodies what the AAPA Summer Meeting is all about! At this condensed, CE-focused meeting, it’s the AAPA’s goal to give attendees a little something extra – extra learning opportunities, extra chances to connect with PA peers and colleagues, and extra time to enjoy the city with your friends and family.
After our successful Inaugural Summer Meeting last year, we’re mixing things up a bit! Attendees will still have the opportunity to earn up to 15 CE credits over the course of the 2 ½ day meeting, with a wonderful lineup of PA-specific content (stay tuned for speaker and session details). But this year, conference activity will be held at and hosted by the Pathologists’ Assistant Program at Tulane University School of Medicine, while the New Orleans Marriott will be utilized exclusively for our sleeping room block. This is a new and exciting conference format that we look forward to sharing with you! Also, like with last year’s meeting, sessions will end by 4:30 pm on Monday and Tuesday, so you will have plenty of time to experience all the “lagniappe” that New Orleans has to offer!
