How to submit an AAPA BOT nomination in just 3 simple steps!

BOT Nominations

BOT

Hello AAPA Fellow Members,

Congratulations, you have taken the first step towards making an AAPA BOT nomination – opening this email! You’re 1/3 of the way there! Now head to step #2.

Step 2: Review the list of attributes and requirements that make an ideal board member.

A nominee must be a Fellow member in good standing for a minimum of three (3) years prior to being nominated and have at least two (2) years of committee experience. Other attributes to consider are education, background, and areas of expertise. Serving on the BOT requires a three (3) year commitment of service – including meeting attendance and participation – and a demonstrated commitment to the AAPA, its mission, and goals. View all qualifications and expectations here. Does this sound like you, or do you have someone else in mind? Proceed to step #3!

Step 2: Review Requirements

Step 3: Submit a nomination – either for yourself or another deserving Fellow member.

Just be sure to get your nomination in by the deadline of Sunday, March 31, 2024. For a self-nomination, fill out the application form here. Let us know why you are interested in serving in this capacity, what challenges your lab is facing today, and how your expertise can help AAPA and the profession move forward. If you are nominating a fellow member, please email us here.

Step 3: Submit a Nomination

Did you make it this far? Great job – you’re all done! We truly appreciate your participation in this nomination process! Stay tuned for the election, which will open September 1.

Sincerely,
