Dear AAPA Members,
As you may have heard, we recently launched the AAPA Career Center! We are so excited to be able to offer this updated job search experience to you, our members. We hope this is a valuable resource to you no matter what stage you are at in your PA career journey.
In place of the former Job Hotline, the members-only Career Center is powered by a partnership with YM Careers, an industry-leading career platform. This partnership allows us to offer you a modern, up-to-date career website that we hope will be a one-stop shop for all members who are looking to job seek, update their resume, or simply advance their career. Not only can you complete a standard search by location, keyword, job title, or company, but you can also set up email alerts according to your interests and specific criteria. You’ll also have access to the Resource Center, with helpful advice articles that will continually be updated with new content. Looking for something a bit more personal? You’ll have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with a career coach or have your resume reviewed by an expert.
Additionally, you will soon begin receiving a Job Flash email every two weeks, highlighting various new PA openings across the country. As a member, you have been automatically opted in to these emails, but if you prefer to just receive targeted email alerts that you set up, you can opt out of the Job Flash emails at any time through your member profile (while still continuing to receive all other communications from the AAPA).
Best of all, your login information for the Career Center is the same as for the main AAPA website, so you don’t need to remember a new username and password.
