What is required for the Fellow scholarship?
Who is eligible to apply?
- All Fellow (non-student) members of AAPA.
What is awarded?
- Attend a Fall Conference or Spring Meeting within the next two years valued at up to $1800 (registration + $1000 to assist with travel expenses).
- Publication in a peer-reviewed journal within the next two years
What is the scholarship submission deadline?
- July 15
How many scholarships are there?
- The four top manuscripts will be chosen.

What makes a good case report?

If my paper wins, when/where will it be published?
- It will be published within the next year in either The Cutting Edge or Beyond the Bench, or released as an e-Blast.
Am I required to make a poster and present at the conference?
- No presentation is required.
Award FAQ:
Does the scholarship only apply to the upcoming Fall conference?
- No, the scholarship may be used toward any Fall Conference or Spring Meeting in the two years following the award.
If I’m already registered for an upcoming conference, can I still use the scholarship for that conference and receive a refund?
- Yes. If you are awarded the scholarship, please contact the Central Office to coordinate.
