AAPA Website Tutorial – Online CME Journal Self Awarding Credits

STEP 1:Log- In to the website and select Online CME Journal from your Member Resources page. If you need help logging-in, click here.

STEP 2:Click the “Add Entry” Icon either above or below your listed credits.

You MUST select “Yes” when the pop-up window asks you “Is this entry for a Certificate or Program?”.

Failure to select yes will result in a credit entry that will not be entered in your CME Journal.

STEP 3: You MUST select “Self-Awarding CMP Points” under the Certification/Program drop-down.

Complete the rest of the form as directed. You are required to enter the number of credits earned for each entry. See the ASCP BOC’s CMP U.S. Certification Maintenance Program booklet for more detailed information on CMP point allocation. You are required to enter a CEU expiration date. The date you enter should be at least three years from the date you participated in the activity to keep the entry visible on your profile, as needed for your recertification with the ASCP BOC.

If you have documentation you wish to attach to your journal entry select “Choose File” under File Uploads. Having proof of attendance in an easy to access location is highly recommended should you be audited by the ASCP BOC.

Click “Submit” and allow up to 3 business days for your entry to be processed.
