AAPA Has Updated the Study Course – Dec. 2017

New content released for the AAPA Study Course!

The December 2017 update of the study course includes new study questions from three texts on the ASCP reading list: Gross Pathology Handbook, AMA CPT 2017, and A Manual of Laboratory and Diagnostic Tests. The information covered by the three texts includes a wide variety of topics. The Gross Pathology Handbook includes multiple descriptive grossing terms and definitions. The AMA CPT 2017 text includes questions over relevant CPT coding for autopsy and accessioning. A Manual of Laboratory and Diagnostic Tests covers information utilized throughout various branches of the lab for specific testing. Additionally, new questions are released as the final installment from Robbins and Cotran Pathologic Basis of Disease (9th edition) from chapters 6-10, over topics including diseases of the immune system, neoplasia, infectious disease, environmental and nutritional disease, and diseases of infancy and childhood. Also, the ASCP updated reading list is now available through the site. Look for the next study course update to be released in the spring of 2018.

If you have not yet subscribed to the study course, please visit the AAPA website. Students with a subscription have access to valuable resources that are continually updated until they pass the exam, for a one-time fee.

Look for the red New! tag.
