AAPA Career Center: Career Advice Resource Center
Hello AAPA Members,
Have you had a chance to check out the AAPA Career Center? If not, we encourage you to take a look at all the valuable resources it has to offer! In addition to being able to search open pathologists’ assistant positions across the country and set up email alerts according to your interests, you can also maintain resumes and cover letters, sign up for one-on-one career coaching, and explore career advice in the resource center.
This section of the Career Center is a wealth of useful information on topics ranging from networking to interviewing, career growth to leadership; there is even a new section on workplace health and wellness. While these articles aren’t specific to the pathologists’ assistant profession, they provide great general information for those starting their career, those looking to advance to the next stage, or even those looking to make a career change.
Another benefit of the career advice resource center is that all the articles’ authors are listed with various platforms where they can be reached, in case you want to follow up with further questions or connect directly.
