Registration will open February 19, 2013!

The registration fee is $700 for members and $800 for non-members. Because space is limited, full payment must be received at the time of registration. Only credit card payment will be accepted. If you have any questions, contact the Central Office at [email protected].

If you book your stay at the Westin Riverwalk, you are eligible to receive a $150 discount on your meeting registration. Local PAs within a 60 mile radius of the hotel, who are traveling to the meeting daily from their homes, are also eligible for the $150 hotel discount. Meeting Details

The AAPA’s Spring Meeting is a smaller, condensed meeting, focused solely on CME, limited to the first 75 registrants. A waitlist will be available for any additional registrations. Should additional space open, the waitlisted individuals will be notified based on the date and time of their online submission request.
 

Host Hotel Information

This year’s host hotel is the Westin Riverwalk Hotel. The special discounted room rate of $154 plus tax (16.75%) per night is available until Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 5 pm CDT. Bring your family and extend your stay! Discounted hotel room rate applies three days prior and three days following the meeting. Continuing Education Credits

The AAPA is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS PACETM Program. To be eligible to receive continuing education credit, you must have passed the ASCP BOC exam prior to this meeting. To receive credit, you must arrive within the first 10 minutes of the start of each and every lecture.
The maximum number of CME credits available at our 2013 spring meeting is fifteen (15).
 

Cancellation Policy

Written notice to cancel be received via fax, mail, or email by April 1, 2013, to receive an 60% refund. No refunds will be given after April 1. If the AAPA cannot hold this meeting due to acts of God, war, government regulations, disaster, strikes, civil disorder, or curtailment of transportation or other emergencies making it inadvisable, illegal, or impossible to provide the facilities or to hold the meeting, each prepaid registrant will receive meeting materials electronically. Fixed meeting expenses will be paid from the pre-registration funds. Any remaining funds will be refunded to pre-registrants. The AAPA is not responsible for any other costs incurred by pre-registrants in connection with this meeting.
 

Attire & Weather

Be sure to dress in layers as the weather changes throughout the day in San Antonio. Expect daytime temperatures in the 80s and evening temperatures in the high 60s.
