Host Hotel Information

This year’s host hotel is the Embassy Suites Atlanta at Centennial Olympic Park.  

“Parkside leisure in downtown Atlanta. Find us on the edge of downtown Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park, steps from Georgia World Congress Center and Mercedes-Benz Stadium. We’re a preferred hotel of the Georgia Aquarium, just a five-minute walk from us. Enjoy free breakfast, complimentary evening receptions, and an on-site Starbucks. A fitness center and outdoor pool complete your city escape.”

Hotel Reservations:
Our group hotel rate will be $239 (single/double occupancy) per night plus any applicable taxes or fees.  The discounted hotel rate will end on February 14, 2026, unless the room block sells out sooner.  To book your reservation, click here.

We encourage you to make your hotel reservations early.  If you are having trouble with hotel reservations or booking additional room nights on the front or back end of the meeting, please be sure to contact us so we can work with the hotel to correct the issue.

AAPA is excited to welcome these speakers to our 2026 Spring meeting.

REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO THE FIRST 125 REGISTRANTS.  Space is limited for this smaller, condensed meeting, focused solely on CE.  Register as soon as possible to guarantee your spot! 

Registration fee includes access to all lectures, daily sponsors, and credits awarded based on attendance requirements. Registration includes breakfast and coffee breaks all three days and lunch on Monday and Tuesday. Registrants have the ability to earn up to fifteen (15) P.A.C.E. (R) credits by attending all lectures. Register early as space is limited!

$834 if staying offsite
$659 discounted rate for attendees staying at host hotel, or for local attendees who live within a 60-mile radius

AAPA Student Members (no CE):
$634 if staying offsite
$459 discounted rate for attendees staying at host hotel, or for local attendees who live within a 60-mile radius

Non-Members: 
$949 if staying offsite
$774 discounted rate for attendees staying at host hotel, or for local attendees who live within a 60-mile radius

Registration Fine Print:
Registration is open until March 2, 2026, or until sold out.  A detailed confirmation will automatically be emailed to you once your registration has been submitted.  Payment is only by credit card and is due at time of registration.  The Cancellation Policy will be enforced once your registration is submitted (with or without payment).  If you have any questions, contact us at 202-591-2478

Cancellation Policy

All registrations submitted and received online are considered confirmed registrations.  Written notice to cancel must be received via email by January 26, 2026, to receive an 80% refund.  No refunds will be given after this date.  For cancellations due to illness after this date, a refund of 80% may be given with the submission of a physician’s note.  If the AAPA cannot hold this meeting due to acts of God, war, government regulations, disaster, strikes, civil disorder, or curtailment of transportation or other emergencies making it inadvisable, illegal, or impossible to provide the facilities or to hold the meeting, each prepaid registrant will receive meeting materials electronically.  Fixed meeting expenses will be paid from the pre-registration funds.  Any remaining funds will be refunded to pre-registrants.  The AAPA is not responsible for any other costs incurred by pre-registrants in connection with this meeting.

Travel, Transportation, and Parking

Transportation to/from Airport

The Embassy Suites Atlanta at Centennial Olympic Park is located about 12 miles from the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. There is not an airport shuttle available.

TRAIN: Take the MARTA train Gold or Red Line trains from the Hartsfield-Jackson International to the Peachtree Center Station.  From the station it is 0.5 mile walk.

PARKING: Valet parking is available at the hotel for a rate of $55.00/day.

Legal Information

Continuing Education Credits

The AAPA is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS PACETM   Program. To be eligible to receive continuing education credit, you must have passed the ASCP BOC exam prior to this meeting. To receive credit, you must arrive and sign-in within the first 10 minutes of the start of each and every lecture. The maximum number of CE credits available at our 2026 Spring Meeting is fifteen (15).

Remember, a perk of being an AAPA member is automated ASCP credit transfer. Certified members who have provided their ASCP Customer ID in their AAPA profile, and whose first and last name are an exact match to their ASCP profile, will have their AAPA PACE credits earned at this meeting and all additional credits earned throughout the year, seamlessly transferred to their ASCP transcript. Please allow up to two weeks for earned in-person event attendance credits to transfer.
