2024 Issue 1 of The Cutting Edge
Is Now Available!

Dear AAPA Members,

Spring is almost upon us, and the year’s first issue of THE CUTTING EDGE has just blossomed! This issue features three peer reviewed manuscripts (two are available for CE credits). The student delegate top manuscript winner, Michaela Lewia, authored the cover article, exploring a case of fetal demise due to COVID infection. Our second CE manuscript, written by BOT CFO, Heather Gaburo, PA(ASCP)^CM, is available for a coveted safety credit, and explains the benefits of yoga, with some great stretches we can do right in the gross room! Lastly, we have an interesting case study of a rhabdoid tumor in the eye, a journal submission by member Brooke Mullen, PA(ASCP)^CM.

The Student Committee is featured on page 20, where we can learn about the committee’s goals and accomplishments. This issue also gives a recap of the recent webinar on the state of the association. There is also a PA Day write-up (help us observe this special day on April 15th this year), as well as our usual features and reports.
