2023 Issue 4 of The Cutting Edge Is Now Available!

Dear AAPA Members,
We are pleased to bring you the year’s final issue of THE CUTTING EDGE. This issue features two peer-reviewed manuscripts available for CE credits. In the first, Fellow Travel Grant winner Krystal Walker, PA(ASCP)CM, discusses a rare case of tuberculosis within the genitourinary system for a General Pathology credit. Ashley D’Amour authored the Student General Education Scholarship winning manuscript, detailing a renal cell carcinoma for an Advanced Pathology credit. Our third manuscript is written by Dominique Drouin, PA(ASCP), who researched and tested the Lymph Node Locator 300 device and outlines the pros and cons for our field.
Our Annual Conference wrap-up is featured in this issue (you can also find additional photos online!). This was a fantastic conference to attend, with our hotel right next door to Camden Yards – aka the Baltimore Orioles’ ballpark! (Turn to page 20 to see the special shoutout we got during our volunteer recognition event.)
Be sure to check out all our highlighted members in this issue: 2023 AAPA Journal Award Winners (page 5), ASCP’s 40 Under Forty honorees (page 14), our Member Spotlight and ASCP Pathology Ambassador Award Recipient (page 18), 2023 AAPA Award Winners (page 22), and more!
You can access the online, interactive version of this issue now by clicking on the journal cover image found here or by visiting the “The Cutting Edge journal” page found under the Member Community area of www.pathassist.org.
If you have opted to receive the journal via postal mail, a copy of your journal is on its way to your mailbox. You can change your preferred delivery method by accessing your member profile.
Wishing you a happy new year!
Sincerely,

Beth Felicelli, PA(ASCP)CM Editor-in-Chief of The Cutting Edge [email protected]
