2023 Issue 2 of The Cutting Edge Is Now Available!

Dear AAPA Members,
We are pleased to bring you the next issue of THE CUTTING EDGE. This issue is once again packed with content. The cover manuscript is the latest winning travel grant submission in the non-malignant category. This General AP CE manuscript demonstrates the importance of a thorough dissection of the heart at autopsy. The AAPA offers Fellow travel grant contests twice a year, with both malignant and non-malignant categories, allowing four Fellow members to earn grants to attend an annual conference or spring or summer meeting of their choosing within the next two years. (The current offering is open through July 1st!)
Our second CE manuscript is an Advanced AP credit describing an intriguing case of advanced squamous cell carcinoma. The third peer-reviewed manuscript (non-CE) is a piece on PA burnout and stress mitigation – an interesting read on a highly relevant topic!
This issue also features a summary of our most recent salary survey, a look back at celebrations from the 10th Annual PA Day, event recaps and previews, a member spotlight, and much more!
You can access the online, interactive version of this issue now by clicking on the journal cover image found here or by visiting the “The Cutting Edge journal” page found under the Member Community area of www.pathassist.org.
If you have opted to receive the journal via postal mail, a copy of your journal is on its way to your mailbox. You can change your preferred delivery method by accessing your member profile.
Sincerely,

Beth Felicelli, PA(ASCP)CM Editor-in-Chief of The Cutting Edge [email protected]
