As part of our new social awareness cause and in connection with our keynote presentation, look for ways to support Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC) throughout the conference.
LBBC is an organization whose mission is to connect people with trusted breast cancer information and a community of support, where no one impacted by breast cancer feels uninformed or alone.
Some of the ways to participate in this cause are:

Jail & Bail
What is a Jail and Bail? Jail and bail fundraisers can be a fun and entertaining way to raise money for a nonprofit organization. At the AAPA Jail and Bail, attendees can pay a small fee to issue an “arrest warrant” for another attendee they’d like to see arrested. Sometimes the arrest warrant is used as an opportunity to make up outlandish and humorous charges such as “spilled black ink on your cutting board,” or “searched for lymph nodes in omentum.” Once the arrest warrant is issued, the AAPA police “arrests” the unsuspecting participant, serving them with a warrant. He or she is then whisked off to “jail”. When the participants arrive at the “jail”, they serve their time (5 minutes). Should they wish to be released early, they can opt to give a donation for release.
Jail & Bail is a great way to have fun while raising money to support a great cause! All proceeds will go directly to LBBC.
Get your own AAPA 43rd Annual Continuing Education Conference T-shirt! T-shirt designs will be presented and voted on by our members. Look for more information on social media in July! Proceeds will go to LBBC. There will be a designated day to wear your t-shirts. Any attendee wearing their t-shirt will receive a raffle ticket for a special raffle held on Thursday afternoon.
